Car Rental Planet (CRP) is not a car rental company and it does not rent cars. Instead, CRP provides exceptionally adaptable reservation systems, marketing expertise, and website-optimization to independent car rental agencies, providing them with the traffic and tools to generate quality car rental reservations.
What is included in the price?
In most locations, the Carrentalplanet.com price includes:
- Unlimited mileage.
- Third party insurance.
- CDW: Collision damage waiver with no excess.
- Airport surcharges.
- VAT and all local taxes.
Throughout the steps in your booking you will see the price for the car rental as well as costs for any extras that might apply.
The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. But you can give back the car up to 1 hour later than you took it without being charged for an additional day. More than 1 hour is calculated as an additional day.

Parking Tickets, Traffic Violations and Tolls
Parking tickets, traffic violations and tolls are the responsibility of the renter. At some locations, a third party subrogation company may be utilized to recover any fees associated with unpaid violations. A service charge in addition to the cost of the violation may be assessed to defer the cost of collection.
Mechanical Problems
Mechanical problems must be reported to the rental location.
Fuel Policies/Charges
At the time of rental, customers may purchase the full tank of gas at the current market price with no refunds (charges may vary).
Return with less than a full tank and rental location will refuel the vehicle for a refueling service charge (location’s service charge may vary).
Return with a full tank and pay no refueling service charge.
How do I make a booking?
Follow the easy steps in our reservation form. Choose your region, location, date and time and you will see which cars are available for the period you have requested. You will also find the cost for the whole period for all available cars in the same page.
In the next step you will have the opportunity to select from the available extra equipment, insurance and service options. When you have finished the selection of car and extras you will then have to accept our terms and provide necessary personal data. The next step will take you to our secure server where your down payment will take place. If your payment is approved you will get a preliminary confirmation via e-mail. You will receive the final confirmation Voucher, ( through e-mail).
How do I pay?
Carrentalplanet.com accepts Visa and Mastercard.
When you make a reservation you will be asked for a security deposit through our Secure server. The outstanding balance will be paid locally upon delivery of your car.
Driver’s License
Drivers must produce a full driving license held for at least one year.
In addition to the driver’s license, a valid passport or ID card and at some destinations an international driving license has to be presented at the reception of the vehicle.
In certain locations and for some car types, drivers must have held a full license for a minimum of 2-3 years.

It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving license.
No refunds will be given for rentals rejected due to non-production of a valid driving license.
Faxed or photocopied licenses are not acceptable.

Our online reservation system (whether order is confirmed or not) does not constitute a contract for the supply of vehicle rental services.
A contract will be entered into at the time of rental and will be governed by the laws of the country of rental.
